Accommodation is proving to be one of the most developing industries of youth travel especially in Europe.
Spain is working on an ISO based certification. UK tour operators are under pressure to make sure foreign accommodation providers apply national safety regulations and the Mecklenburg Tourism Board (German region) has just started a youth accommodation certification, including auditing and star rating systems. These are just some examples of the key issues that might influence your daily business on a short term basis.
The time has come to start a network around youth accommodation issues. It shall allow all opinions and trends to be criticized or supported, in order to finally provide regional, national and European decision makers with the arguments for the regulations that will run the accommodation industry in the coming years. Over 12,000 European youth travel professionals are invited to join forces.
The main goal of the workshop is to give this industry a voice. Come and participate! Whether you are a provider or a trader, whether you are not for profit or commercial, this is about creating and extending your business networks and exchanging views about the industry's future with other dynamic professionals.
