This is a trade event, the first of its kind to gather accommodation professionals of the European youth and student travel industry.

Accommodation is the core of tourism and often proves to be the success or failure of a journey whether backpacking, in a group or with family.The First Youth and Student Accommodation Workshop aims to bring accommodation executives and service providers (i.e. tour operators) together to create business networks and exchange views about the industry's future.

About 8, 000 pre-registration forms are being sent to certain youth accommodation executives. Why should they come:

• Trade: to come and take the opportunity to present themselves and to discover the business potential with tour operators from all over Europe. Apart from the trade itself, the programme reinforces socialising opportunities.
• Get informed: to obtain a true picture of the actual state of the art of youth accommodation operation. The workshop seminars will inform them of the latest trends and structural developments applied to accommodation within the youth and student travel industry.
• Network: to exchange views with professionals of other European cities and regions. Word of mouth remains the main vehicle for developing your business.
